Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing expert emergency care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The ER RN will perform critical assessments, execute clinical procedures, and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates are required to bring their licensed RN credentials on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
  • Shift: 3 x 12 nights; 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, 2 years of experience in ER, Epic charting system proficiency
  • Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS; CPR certification must be current
  • Additional Information: Must have uploaded Nursys license verification within the last 2 weeks and applicable certifications with expiration dates; two references obtained within the last year; vaccination compliance for COVID-19 and influenza required; vaccination documentation must be submitted.
  • Experience: 2 years of ER experience required
  • Patient Care: Manage critically ill patients with conditions such as trauma, stroke, MI, respiratory failure, neuro-trauma, and more. Perform invasive procedures including arterial line management, chest tube insertion, intubation, and procedural sedation.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Effective patient education, documentation, patient advocacy, and adherence to safety protocols. Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements: Onboarding labs completed within 35 days of contract signing, and 7-year work history verification.
  • Note: RTO (Return to Office) maximum 7 days per contract; holiday requests accepted only for specified dates.
