Description

Job Summary:
A Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT) position is available in Bronx, New York. The role involves working in a perioperative setting, supporting surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Location: Bronx, New York
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Nationally certified with NBSTSA; minimum 2 years of experience required.
Schedule: Days shift (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), 9 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: NBSTSA certification; no more than 3 RTO (Request for Time Off); no holiday RTO; minimum 2 years experience in surgical technologist roles; no special schedule requests will be approved.
Preferred Qualifications: Eye and urology experience; experience in OR, Spine, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmology, Vascular, Trauma.
Additional Information: Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
