Description
Job Summary:
A Surgical Technician position is available in the operating room specialty focusing on pediatrics, located in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves working in a fast-paced clinical environment within a designated medical campus. Candidates are required to bring their licensure documentation on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Schedule: 10-hour days, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
- Travel Required: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other areas of practice within their clinical competence, within thirty-five (35) miles of the originally assigned facility, depending on departmental needs.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required; DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) license must be obtained before starting. Education: Associates degree required. Experience: Previous travel experience required; high-risk spine, neuro, orthopedic, general surgery, trauma case experience required; Level 1 trauma experience required; Pediatric experience documented in work history required.
- Additional Information: Weekend requirements and weekend call shifts as needed; 5-6 call shifts in an 8-week period covering nights and weekends; no RTO allowed during the first two weeks; flu vaccination required unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
