Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves providing high-acuity emergency care across all ages, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and psychiatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Location: Louisville, KY
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with weekend rotations every third weekend, and on-call not required. Holiday schedule will be based on unit needs.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications; Minimum of 1 year experience in emergency care; Kentucky license or eligibility; Willingness to work nights.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: No float rotation required.
- Additional Information: Approval of RTO by the nurse manager; willingness to consider block scheduling; scrubs in galaxy blue, with black bottoms acceptable; free parking; must possess skills in trach care, ventilator care, ICU drip maintenance, chest tubes, arterial lines, central venous lines (CVL), peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), midline, ports, Foley catheter care, orthopedic device application, BiPAP/high flow oxygen, and continuous bladder irrigation.
