Job Summary:
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available on the second floor of a healthcare facility. This role involves caring for cardiac and post-operative cardiac patients, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care within a specialized unit. Job Details:

• Location: 3900 St Francis Way, Lafayette, Indiana 47905
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts available from 0600-1800 (days) or 1800-0630 (nights)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in ACLS and NIH, cardiac rhythm knowledge (must pass facility test with 90%), at least 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or advanced care experience, and previous critical care experience preferred. Experience in the specified specialty preferred but not explicitly required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac ICU and/or step-down/progressive care environment.
• Schedule: The assigned shifts are days or nights, with a minimum of three shifts per week.
• Additional Information: The position is for two staff members, with the role created due to vacancy. No float requirements are specified.
• Responsibilities: Providing specialized cardiac patient care, operating medical equipment such as ekos, balloon pump, impella, cardiac monitors, and ventilators, and adhering to certification and competency standards.
