Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in General Surgery, located in Windham Hospital area. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical Surgery Floor with a focus on general, gynecology, urology, and endoscopy procedures. The role requires maintaining proficiency in various technical skills and participating in after-hours on-call duties.

Job Details:

• Shift: Day shifts only

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week

• Required Qualifications:

  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in a surgical or related setting
  • Location: Must be willing to work in Windham Hospital area
  • Skills: EPIC electronic medical record experience; proficiency in Total Joint (MAKO robot) and Orthospine (Globus robot); da Vinci surgical system experience preferred
  • Additional skills: General surgery, gynecology, urology, endoscopy

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with da Vinci surgical system
  • Experience with Total Joint and Orthospine surgeries

• Additional Information:

  • On-call duties required, approximately one evening or night per week and about every fifth weekend
  • No float rotation required
