Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical Floor) position is located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult patients in a hospital setting. The nurse will utilize professional nursing standards to deliver high-quality care, coordinate with the healthcare team, and support patient discharge planning, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Details
- Location: Phoenix, AZ (1111 E Mcdowell Rd)
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications: BLS certification is required
- Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, with a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting; experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.
- Additional Certifications: Employees may be required to possess specific fingerprint clearance cards based on the healthcare facility's requirements, and must maintain these cards throughout employment.
- Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs; formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; document patient care accurately; and incorporate evidence-based practices in patient care delivery.
- Additional Information: The role may involve collaboration with external contacts, participation in patient safety initiatives, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.
