Job Summary:
A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Prescott, Arizona, on the third floor of a care setting specializing in cardiac and medical unit care. The role involves managing patients with conditions such as heart failure, COVID-19, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetics, post-catheterization, and total joint replacements. The RN will be expected to interpret basic tele strips, demonstrate experience with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and transient ischemic attack (TIA), and work within a unit that utilizes Cerner electronic medical records system.

- Location: 1003 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, AZ 86301
- Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Telemetry
- Shift Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with shifts scheduled for 4 weeks.
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of RN experience, Certifications in BLS and ACLS, ability to interpret basic tele strips, experience with CVA and TIA, Cerner EMR experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joint replacement patients.
- Schedule and Staffing: Self-scheduling for 4-week periods, with manager final approval.
- Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Work 2 weekends per 4-week schedule; scheduled to work 2 days and 2 evenings or 2 evenings and 2 days during major holidays such as Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving.
- Floating: May float to East Campus or possibly PCU if qualified.
- Dressing Code: Navy blue scrubs.
- Orientation: One shift of unit-specific orientation.
- Additional Responsibilities: Interpreting patient strips, working in an acute care setting, and adhering to specific shift notes.
- Referrals and Application: Valid license to submit, with possible requirements for additional certifications or clearances as specified.
