Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in circulating roles is sought for a facility located in Palmer, Alaska. This urgent need involves dayshift hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires a highly experienced candidate with a focus on urology, orthopedic, and other surgical cases, supporting the ongoing operational needs of the facility.

Job Details:

• Location: 2500 S Woodworth Loop, Palmer, Alaska, 99645

• Schedule: Dayshift, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week

• Required Qualifications:

  • RN Licensure
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) -- facility will assist with obtaining if needed
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) -- preferred but not mandatory
  • 3 years' circulating experience in operating room settings
  • Experience with ENT, gastrointestinal, gynecology, urology, or orthopedic cases
  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Must include the home address on submission; SSN required on candidates tax page (do not include SSN in submission email or packet)

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS and PALS certifications (facility will assist with obtaining)
  • Experience with green scrubs preferred

• Additional Information:

  • Scrubs required: Green
  • Travelers must include necessary information for submission; submissions without complete information will be rejected
  • No holiday coverage required
  • This position is a replacement of permanent staff
