Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Iowa City, Iowa. This position involves working on an adult psychiatric unit with a focus on patient-centered and evidence-based care. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS & CPI/MOAB certifications; must have 2 years of experience; Iowa or Compact license; no local candidates within a 60-mile radius.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features private rooms, natural light-filled spaces, open nurses station, and exercise rooms. The interdisciplinary team employs evidence-based modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care.
