Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) positions in Danville, Kentucky. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and promoting safety and recovery within the unit. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required prior to the first shift. Candidates should possess at least 0 years of relevant clinical experience, with a strong preference for those with a minimum of 2 years of bedside experience. Must hold a nursing license valid in the state of Kentucky.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient education, safety, and optimal recovery. Demonstrates leadership by supervising ancillary nursing personnel, delegating appropriately, and assuming charge responsibilities following orientation. Maintains excellent communication with clinical teams and manages resources efficiently. Engages in ongoing professional development and contributes to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
