Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse position available in Petoskey, Michigan. The role involves providing high-level care to critically ill patients in a dedicated ICU setting. The RN will utilize clinical judgment skills to assess and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions within a specialized environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: One year of ICU experience (floating is not considered), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification, basic life support (BLS) certification, Michigan state license verification including LARA and Nursys, and a completed skills checklist within the past year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing vents, managing continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and balloon pumps.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a unit that cares for critically ill cardiology, neuro, trauma, and post-operative open heart surgery patients, with opportunities to float to similar units such as Neuro, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), and Trauma. The facility maintains a strict attendance policy starting from 06/01/2024, with penalties for absences or tardiness. Candidates must be willing to float to similar units as needed.
