Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care within a Level II Trauma Center that features comprehensive stroke and trauma services. The RN will float between units, following the facility's standards, and work a scheduled 12-hour night shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 08/10/2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, at least 2 years of ER nursing experience, certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and experience with charting systems (Epic preferred)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous Charge Nurse experience, additional community hospital, LTAC, or trauma level I or II experience preferred
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to multidisciplinary units within the facility
  • Additional Information:
    • Must have at least 2 years of ER experience, which is a hardstop requirement
    • Candidates should be comfortable managing BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, central lines, and stroke protocols
    • The facility handles complex cases including stroke, STEMI, chest pain, trauma, NSTEMI, and other emergent diagnoses
    • Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 holidays and to request all RTO and scheduling preferences upfront during submittal
    • Must include response to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility previously, with location and dates if applicable
    • References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required prior to start
    • Travel and housing details are arranged as per the agency's policies
