Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Norwich, New York. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting in the emergency department. This role involves assessment, intervention, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment to promote patient safety and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing; current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); ACLS; PALS; TNCC; 2+ years Emergency Department experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
• Skills: Collaboration, Communication (verbal & written), Judgment/Critical Thinking, Organizational Understanding, Planning (Organizing, Time Management), Problem Solving, Quality, Reliability, Safety and Risk Management.
• Additional Information: The position involves performing duties related to charge nurse or shift coordinator roles when assigned, and maintaining compliance with all applicable practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic emergency setting.
