Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse, located at a healthcare facility, oversees patient care during surgical procedures. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety throughout the operative process.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS certification, minimum 1 year of experience as an OR nurse, and valid licenses.
- Schedule: Days shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with flexible hours; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include assisting in various surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certifications required include Nursys License, Driver's License/State ID, and professional profile verification.
- Additional Information: Call requirements based on department needs, currently 1-2 shifts per week day, every 3rd weekend on call, and holiday coverage based on department needs. May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
