Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) registered nurse to join a busy surgical unit. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting a range of procedures including neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma, robotics, plastics, and trauma level 1 cases. The role requires a professional committed to patient safety and team collaboration, working primarily day shifts at a facility located in Plano, Texas.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, appropriate certifications, Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, location in Texas, minimum of 0 years of experience in operating room nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro/spine, trauma, robotics, plastics, or level 1 trauma cases is highly desirable
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a 23-bed operating room with a staff of over 85 healthcare professionals. The facility operates 24/7, with on-call requirements. Nurses are expected to adhere to the unit's dress code and policies, including scrub attire in ceil blue or royal blue. The unit performs a variety of procedures and maintains a focus on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
