Description

Job Summary:

Utilization Review Specialist in the specialty of Utilization Review Expansion (UR EXT), located in Fort Myers, Florida. This remotely-based position involves managing utilization review processes, requiring strong computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records systems. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a rotating weekend schedule every fifth weekend. Prior travel experience and relevant certifications are highly preferred.

Job Details:

  • Location: Fort Myers, Florida, United States
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation
  • Required Qualifications: Degree accreditation verification or five years of relevant experience; two years of experience in utilization management; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and either Case Management Certified (CCM) or Certified Case Manager (CCMN); experience with Epic electronic health record system and the Dragonfly utilization management tool; prior remote work experience highly preferred; computer literate.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience highly preferred.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required. Travel to sister campuses may be necessary.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must load all demographic information at submission, including address, email, date of birth, social security number, and license number. Demographic information is essential for profile approval. Culture fit is important, and travelers are expected to integrate seamlessly as core staff. All documentation must be submitted by the Monday prior to the start date; no exceptions will be made for pending documents.
