Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical skills to care for adult patients in a progressive care setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact license for the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area of progressive care is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification in area of practice is also favored.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with healthcare team members, documentation, and participation in quality improvement activities. Interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare providers is essential to ensure comprehensive care.
