Job Summary:
The Operating Room Technician (ORT) position is located in Aspen, Colorado. This role involves maintaining sterile fields and instrumentation for all surgical procedures, preparing the operating room and supplies for each case, and collaborating with the perioperative team to provide high-quality patient care according to industry standards. The ORT works efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support surgical teams and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date; orthopedic experience; DaVinci Robot experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), which may be obtained upon hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two years recent operating room experience; Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST); bilingual in Spanish.
• Additional Information: Not accepting any Request for Time Off; candidates must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment at high elevation (8,000 feet).
