Description
Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery registered nurse (RN) is sought for a facility located in Rutland, Vermont. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the Labor and Delivery department on a night shift schedule. The role requires the ability to assess and care for newborns at delivery, in the delivery room, and in the operating room, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) fetal monitoring certification, with the ability to assess and care for newborns at delivery and in associated areas.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, familiarity with electronic medical record systems, strong assessment and neonatal care skills.
- Additional Information: Orientation is held biweekly, and schedule requests are subject to manager approval. Candidates must have reliable transportation, as public transit options are limited.
