Description

Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor nurse position is located in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing specialized care on a medical-surgical oncology unit with a focus on inpatient oncology patients. The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts, including day and night, and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to patient-centered care.

Job Details:

Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour days and nights
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN degree, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS) certification, minimum 2 years inpatient oncology experience, chemo (Oncology Nursing Society/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation) certification, completion of references at time of submission
Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, catheter care and management skills, experience with administering chemotherapy, familiarity with electronic charting systems (Epic), and previous experience in an adult inpatient oncology setting
Additional Information:
- Candidates must have completed the required certifications before start date.
- Floating to other units or facilities within a 75+ mile radius may be required.
- All RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests must be disclosed at time of submittal and approved at the time of offer.
- Orientation begins at 4:00 PM PST on the Monday prior to the start date.
- The start date is 08/18/2026.
