Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Denver, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The registered nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, while promoting health education and counseling, delivering supportive therapy, and executing delegated medical functions to support patient well-being.

Job Details:

  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing and additional certifications relevant to the unit or service are preferred
  • Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, health teaching and counseling, executing therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation, monitoring treatment progress, documenting according to guidelines, and utilizing resources effectively. The role may require floating to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications and being placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
