Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse East Saint Louis, IL. This role involves managing and coordinating nursing care activities for clients within a behavioral health setting. The qualified candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care for individuals 18 years of age and older. The position requires demonstrating nursing judgment, adhering to established standards of practice, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current Illinois nursing license, BLS certification, and CPI certification. No minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of clinical standards related to behavioral health nursing, ability to operate standard office equipment, and familiarity with Meditech software.
• Position Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, administer medications, record patient information, coordinate emergency responses, participate in team planning, and contribute to environmental safety and infection control.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a behavioral health setting, with responsibilities including group therapies, multidisciplinary care planning, and adherence to safety and patient confidentiality policies.
