Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility located in Portland, Maine. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within a 43-bed unit, focusing on patients with various acute and chronic medical conditions. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/05/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license with 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical units, telemetry experience, current BLS certification, and CPR/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as applicable.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and telemetry strip interpretation.
- Float: IMC RNs may float to other intensive care units, and medical-surgical RNs may float within similar units based on staff needs and skill sets.
- Additional Information:
- The RN must have ventilator experience, tracheostomy experience, and telemetry monitoring skills.
- The candidate should demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, good communication, and patient-centered care.
- The dress code requires scrubs with unprofessional clothing or non-hospital logos being unacceptable.
