Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in a research psychiatric unit located in Kansas City, MO. This position involves providing mental health care, assessments, and crisis intervention for diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 09/14/2026 through 12/14/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification, ability to assess patients' mental health status, develop individualized care plans, and administer psychiatric medications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with crisis intervention, therapeutic communication, and knowledge of psychotropic medications.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves monitoring patients for physical and psychological symptoms, including vital signs, mental status changes, and medication effects.
