Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse position in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves circulating and providing patient care before and after cardiac procedures, with specialized experience in electrophysiology (EP) and catheterization (Cath) required. The nurse will work in a small hospital setting with opportunities to engage with advanced hybrid cath lab technologies, serving as a vital part of a dynamic cardiovascular service team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, rotating shifts (8 hours per shift), with rotating weekends and evening/weekend call. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license, Compact RN License or eligibility to obtain, current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications issued by the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 3 years of RN Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) experience. Vascular and/or Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience is a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
- CAPS requirement: Apply ASAP at the Colorado Department of Human Services website; processing may take up to two weeks.
- Ensure accurate SS# and DOB in Medefis to facilitate onboarding.
