Job Summary
Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) position in Saco, Maine. This role involves providing patient care in a home health setting, managing a caseload of adult patients across various medical conditions. The position requires collaboration with a team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, adhering to agency protocols and standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 0800-1700 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and proficiency with electronic documentation systems such as Epich.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with home health care, including IV therapy, tube feeds, trachs, compression wraps, port access, ostomies, chest tubes, urinary catheters, laboratory draws, and related skills.
• Patient Population: Adult medical-surgical, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary patients.
• Equipment and EMR: Provider will be assigned a laptop, mobile phone with case management applications, vital signs equipment, INR machine, and nursing supply bag, all to be returned upon contract completion.
• Additional Information: No float requirements. Call back is required 2-4 times per month between 1700-2000 hours, with notification by 1700 if an additional visit is needed. A collaborative, team-oriented personality with good communication skills is preferred. Dress code is business casual or scrubs of any color; jeans, open-toed shoes, or clothing with holes are not permitted.
