Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation, located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves providing inpatient rehabilitation care to adult patients with high-acuity needs, focusing on helping patients achieve their highest level of recovery and returning home when possible. The role requires working in a high-quality, accredited inpatient rehabilitation hospital that functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotations.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environments; BLS certification; minimum 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) or inpatient rehabilitation settings related to patient acuity.
- Additional Information: Our inpatient rehab hospital may operate at high acuity levels and requires all nurses to assist CNAs and respond to call lights to ensure patient safety. The facility utilizes EPIC Electronic Health Record system and is equipped with mobility aids including ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy and Sara Plus plus, slide boards, vital sign machines, EKGs, and blood glucose monitors.
