Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nursing position located in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves developing, coordinating, and delivering critical care to patients from adolescent to geriatric, with a focus on medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical diagnoses. The position requires maintaining professional nursing standards and supervising healthcare support staff as assigned.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); valid state licenses for Michigan; experience with open heart returns; 2 or more years of ICU (Surgical and Cardiac) experience; clinical experience in Intensive Care Unit settings from adolescent to geriatric patients
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart returns; previous travel experience
- Additional Information: Develops, coordinates, and delivers care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric. Cares for a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical. Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), or other healthcare workers as assigned. This position may require on-call availability if needed, with weekend shifts every third weekend.
