Description

Job Summary:
The intensive care unit (ICU) registered nurse (RN) position in Wenatchee, Washington, involves providing high-quality, compassionate patient care in a specialized hospital setting. The role requires adherence to hospital policies, standards, and legal nursing practices, with responsibilities including medication administration, patient assessment, education, and collaboration with healthcare team members. The position involves working night shifts on a 36-hour workweek.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 07/20/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Required to have a Washington State or Compact RN licensure. Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications. Must adhere to facility policies and standards, and function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit standards. Float as a sitter is required; may float in rotation.
  • Responsibilities include coordinating and providing patient care, developing and reassessing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments, evaluating discharge plans, documenting care, conducting ongoing assessments, teaching patients and families, delegating tasks appropriately, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform holistic assessments, respond to patient needs, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery.
