Description

Job Summary:
Critical Access Hospital in Colville, Washington, is seeking an experienced House Supervisor Level 1 (HOUSE SUP 1) to oversee hospital operations and patient care across multiple departments. The position involves leadership in emergency services, critical care, medical-surgical units, labor and delivery, and surgical services. The role requires clinical expertise, operational support, and the ability to facilitate smooth hospital functions to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS, at least 2 years of experience in emergency department or ICU settings, house supervisor experience, and the ability to float between units including Emergency Department and Critical Care.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse or leadership experience, community hospital experience, and additional certification in trauma or related specialties.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
  • Additional Information: The position primarily supports the emergency department, critical care unit, medical/surgical, labor and delivery, and surgical services. Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. The hospital is a Critical Access Facility with 25 beds, and candidates must be flexible to support various departments including resuscitation and resupply duties until patient transfer if necessary. All certifications are mandatory prior to start.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding previous employment at Providence facilities, provide two references from the last three years covering at least one year, and list last four digits of SSN. All scheduling requests and RTO (Request for Time Off) considerations must be submitted during the application process. No contact with facility staff is permitted unless scheduled through appropriate channels.
