Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced neuro specialty inpatient unit. The role includes managing post-surgical neuro patients, stroke cases, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injuries, requiring collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. The assignment starts on 08/03/2026.
• Required Qualifications: WI RN license or Compact RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least two years of acute care experience within the last three years, and demonstrated experience in charting with Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing neuro specialty patients, participation in trauma level II care, and previous telemetry experience.
• Additional Information: Must have telemetry knowledge and pass a telemetry exam prior to start, with up to two attempts allowed. The unit supports a range of neuro and trauma patients, with clinical requirements including managing ports, CVA care, ICU procedures, and use of specialized equipment such as PICC lines and chest tubes. Travelers are expected to float as needed within a 50-mile radius from the facility.
