Job Summary:
Radiology Nurse in the New York State area focuses on providing safe, patient-centered care in a radiology department setting. This role involves implementing evidence-based nursing practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting operational and clinical quality initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), minimum of 2 years of RN experience in ambulatory outpatient and radiation safety, and at least 1 year of travel experience if applicable. EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient radiology, coaching, teaching, therapeutic nursing, documentation, inventory management, operations, process improvement, staffing, and high reliability practices.
• Additional Information: The role entails performing charge nurse duties, coordinating with clinical leadership to ensure resource availability, facilitating patient throughput, and supporting clinical colleagues, patients, and their families. The position emphasizes professional development, ethical decision-making, lifelong learning, and participation in unit initiatives.
