Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Towson, Maryland. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care across a diverse patient population, including pediatric to geriatric patients, in a dynamic hospital setting. The position offers a nights shift schedule with an emphasis on acute patient management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a valid Compact State license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, experience with patient ratios of 1:4, proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, LTAC experience, Level I or II trauma experience, previous travel experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS*
• Additional Information: The ER handles patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, trauma, psychiatric, and surgical conditions, including stroke, MI, chest pain, trauma, and mental health cases. The facility manages low major trauma with stabilization and transfer. Required own staff to have CPI certification. Candidate must be comfortable floating within scope. Onboarding includes labs within 72 hours of contract signing, with compliance documentation due five days prior to start. Candidate acceptance is required without an interview.
