Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Denver, Colorado. This position involves working in an acute care setting with a focus on surgical procedures, primarily during night shifts. The role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to support surgical teams and ensure patient safety during operative procedures.

Job Details:

Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician
Location: Denver, Colorado
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 07/27/2026
Schedule: Mostly self-schedule, typically no block scheduling.
Required Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA, Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA)
Consolidated Qualifications: Certification as CST, BLS certification, 2 years of relevant experience, open to candidates with 0 or more years of experience, Colorado license submission required.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Robotics, Trauma, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedic Trauma, Joints, Plastics, ENT, Urology, LV1 Trauma
Unit/Department Notes: The role involves working in a unit with approximately 37 cases per day, with specific requirements for orientation and hospital policy on cancellations.
Additional Information:
- Hiring process includes profile review and interview with the unit manager.
- Duration of assignment: Up to 13 weeks, with the hospital able to cancel up to 4 shifts during the period.
- No floating within facility unless extreme need within Zone 3 zones: OCH, LUH, SAH, SANS.
- Scrub color: Blue surgical scrubs provided.
- Charting system: EPIC.
- Trauma Level: 1
