Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Prescott, AZ. This acute care unit specializes in neurological and surgical patients, including COVID, respiratory, gastrointestinal, diabetic, traumatic, and stroke cases. The role involves interpreting telemetry strips and providing comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedules are made out for 4 weeks; self-scheduling is used but finalized by the manager.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; 2 years of clinical nursing experience; active nursing license; and the ability to read basic telemetry strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic charting system is recommended.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Immediate start date: 07/27/2026.
  • Unit features include a telemetry-focused clinical environment with respiratory equipment such as Bipap, Cpap, and high flow.
  • The position involves unit-specific orientation consisting of one shift.
  • Staffing includes nurse aides with a ratio of 1:10-15.
  • Holiday work required for Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving.
  • No call or standby requirements.
  • The role requires interpretation of telemetry strips, with RNs responsible for sign-offs at least once per shift.
  • Must be prepared to float to East Campus and potentially to the Progressive Care Unit if qualified.
