Job Summary:
Baltimore, Maryland The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician to join their team. The role involves applying and adjusting splints, casts, braces, and other orthopedic devices, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment. The technician will fabricate casts, set traction units, and maintain orthopedic supplies, supporting patient care in the orthopedic department.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of experience, Certification as an Orthopedic Technician/Technologist.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior employment within the Johns Hopkins health system is preferred; candidates with previous experience at Johns Hopkins facilities must have been gone for at least 1 full year before applying as a traveler.
• Additional Information: Candidates must read facility fixed notes for specific duties related to applying and adjusting orthopedic devices, maintaining inventory, and performing related tasks. They should verify prior employment with Johns Hopkins facilities before submission.
