Description
Surgical Technologist (Travel)
- Shift: Days, 5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
- Strong experience in:
- Robotics (Da Vinci Xi)
- Orthopedics
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner charting system required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Valid Maryland Surgical Technologist credential/license (if applicable) or Compact license as required at submission
- References required
Call & Schedule
- 16 hours of call per month
- Up to 2 pre-approved RTO requests
- No RTO accepted after auto-offer

Candidates should be comfortable scrubbing a broad range of procedures, including:
- General Surgery
- Robotics (Da Vinci Xi)
- Orthopedics
- Total Hip Replacement
- Total Knee Replacement
- Fracture Repair
- Spine Surgery
- Lumbar Fusion
- Cervical Fusion
- Laminectomy/Discectomy
- Vascular Surgery
- ENT
- Urology
- Gynecology
- Thoracic Surgery (VATS)
- Gastrointestinal procedures
- Laparoscopic procedures
- Endoscopy (EGD, Colonoscopy)
- Hernia Repairs
- Cholecystectomy
- Appendectomy
- Thyroidectomy
- And numerous additional specialty procedures listed by the facility.
Facility Information
- Scrubs provided
- Candidates may float within the hospital within their scope of practice.
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
- Return travelers must have been away for at least 1 year.
- COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted).

- Copy of BLS certification
- Valid Maryland/Compact license (if applicable)
- RTO submitted before offer
- Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
- Robotics and Orthopedic experience
- Cerner experience
