Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized patient care within the neurology unit, utilizing clinical expertise to monitor and assess patients with neurological conditions. The position is scheduled for nights with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering an opportunity to contribute to a facility recognized for safety and patient-centered care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license valid in Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri; BLS certification from AHA; NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year experience in telemetry nursing, inpatient only; experience and competence in drug titration
• Preferred Qualifications: 1-year experience in neuro inpatient nursing
• Float: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluates care effectiveness, and coordinates patient care with other departments. Must be flexible with scheduling, able to work differing shifts and days, and available for orientation on day shifts. High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids; physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, and assisting with patient mobility.
