Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (OR) Statesboro, GA. This position involves providing patient care in the operating room setting. The role includes circulating cases, managing supplies and equipment, scrubbing in surgical procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring the smooth operation of surgical workflows. The candidate must demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and effective communication as part of the surgical team.

Job Details:

• Shift: 3x12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 5x8-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; call required 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks.
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Certifications/Education/Experience: 2+ years of OR experience, with a background in Robotics, Orthopedic, General surgery, or OBGYN required.
• Schedule: Dayshift, with minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Ensuring supplies are prepared, coordinating case flow, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures, supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Facility details: 9 beds, EMR used is Cerner, scrub color is green.
• Additional information: Blocked scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be requested.
• Willingness to review clinicians with pending state licenses: Yes.
• Position creation reason: Contractor Replacement.
