Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) located in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing acute adult psychiatric care within a behavioral health unit. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained throughout the assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from the American Heart Association, 1 year of inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health experience in adult acute settings, as specified in the job order, and must be able to work full shift hours.
• Preferred Qualifications: Crisis or behavioral health training experience
• Float: None required, but flexibility to work as a tech or sitter if needed
• Additional Information:
  Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and coordinate care with other departments. The role involves direct patient care activities for adult acute psychiatric patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position requires physical stamina due to standing, walking, and physical demands involving patient handling, alongside maintaining confidentiality and adherence to the organization's standards and values. Night orientation on day shift, with availability for the entire week.
