Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position in St. Charles, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising support staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs. The RN will deliver safe, effective nursing services while promoting patient safety and education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, ACLS certification (CIRH only), a minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience, ICU experience and appropriate skills for Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, previous experience with the organization, and a valid license in Missouri.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and participates in patient education and discharge planning. The role requires effective communication of patient status and supervision of ancillary staff. The RN is expected to contribute to a positive work environment and adhere to safety protocols, including safe patient handling and infectious disease prevention. Punctuality, professional growth, and efficient use of resources are essential for success in this position.
