Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse specializing in open heart procedures is sought for a leading healthcare organization in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This role involves providing expert perioperative care within a busy cardiac surgery unit, supporting procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, TAVARS, TEVARS, robotic lungs, VATS, and thoracotomies. Job Details:

• Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
• Shift Details: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CST, RN
  • Education/Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting; 1 year of general OR experience and 1 year of cardiac experience required
  • Location: Must be licensed or eligible to practice in South Carolina
  • Additional Requirements: Candidate must have current BLS and ACLS certification; cardiac surgery experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Procedural experience with CABG, valve replacements, TAVARS, TEVARS, robotic lungs, VATS, thoracotomies
• Responsibilities:
  • Deliver preoperative and postoperative nursing care for cardiac surgery patients
  • Assist with procedures including robotic surgeries and thoracotomies
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and unit-specific protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
