Description

Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves coordinating and implementing patient care for a diverse patient population, including post-cardiac catheterization, post-surgical, high-risk medication management, and respiratory support. The role requires providing quality and efficient care while adhering to unit standards and safety protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact State license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, 0+ years of experience, and ability to work in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
  • A minimum of a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program is required, with relevant skills and knowledge appropriate to the patient population served.
  • Knowledge of patient rights and effective communication tailored to developmental ages.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Relevant clinical experience in telemetry or related areas is advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The nursing responsibilities include initial patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, performing point-of-care testing, and participating in patient education and discharge planning. The role may involve on-call duties as needed, with floating to different locations if required.
