Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in Detroit, Michigan. This position involves leading the delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires the application of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as effective communication with the healthcare team and patients families. The nurse will participate in cardiac stress testing and interpret rhythms as part of the clinical responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - Minimum 2 years cardiology experience with experience interpreting rhythms. - BLS & ACLS certifications. - Current active MI RN license.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cardiac testing.
• Additional Information: - Performing cardiac stress tests in Cardio Non-invasive lab. - Expect to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. - Cannot guarantee block scheduling but the unit does its best to accommodate requests. - Skills required include effective communication, analytical abilities, nursing care planning, clinical knowledge, and professional nursing services.
