Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients within the specialized unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and promoting patient well-being.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Casual or permanent employment status, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing, at least 1 year of nursing experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing, certification as appropriate for the neonatal intensive care unit
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform independent and delegated nursing functions within scope of competency, including health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, and therapy and treatment planning. Responsibilities also include patient referral, documentation, resource utilization, and working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The role may require participation in float rotations and being on-call during scheduled shifts.
