Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Miles City, Montana. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery unit, providing health education and counseling, executing medical procedures, and ensuring proper documentation. The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope and could be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited nursing school, current Registered Nurse license in Montana, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and up-to-date ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, certification specific to the unit or service.
• Skills & Experience: Nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, resource utilization, registered nurse experience, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation.
• Additional Information: The role involves executing delegated medical functions, reviewing treatment plans, and utilizing appropriate resources. Flexibility to float and be on-call may be required based on operational needs.
