Job Summary:
The cardiac catheterization laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) specialty position is based in HILO, Hawaii. This role involves working in the interventional, cardiac, and vascular unit, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The position requires demonstrating technical proficiency in procedures such as angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and intra-aortic balloon pump insertions, and hemodynamic monitoring, with a focus on patient care and safety.

Job Details:

• Location: HILO, Hawaii
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, approximately 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS; Education: minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cardiac catheterization lab; Location: Hawaii; Years of Experience: 0+ years
• Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date offered if they cannot be there on time.
• Procedures Involved: Interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac procedures, including angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and intra-aortic balloon pump insertions, along with hemodynamic monitoring.
• Monitoring and Equipment: Siemens equipment, Sensis monitoring system, EMR: Meditech
