Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients across a range of stability levels, from stable feeders to critical Level 3 cases. Candidates must be available to start on 08/10/2026 and work during daytime shifts with weekend rotation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift with weekend rotation, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licensed RN in Indiana with at least 2 years of NICU Level 3 experience; certifications include ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE. EMR used is Cerner.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal and NICU Level 3 experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to assist in other areas, but this assignment does not involve taking assignments in other units.
- Additional Information: The role includes caring for a patient population in a unit with 40 beds, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. Scrub color is navy blue. Travelers must attach valid license and certifications, and include a drivers license and permanent home address matching the ID. Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
