Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse - Tulsa, Oklahoma
This is a clinical nursing position specializing in telemetry care on a 28-bed cardiac monitoring unit. The role involves providing direct patient care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating activities with multidisciplinary team members. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work under stress in a Level I trauma center serving patients of all ages.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current nursing license, basic life support certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in a telemetry or cardiac care environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry equipment is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The unit is supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator. Utilizes monitor techs and virtual sitter systems for patient monitoring. The team-oriented environment emphasizes collaboration among nursing staff, PCTs, and unit support personnel.
